The Sri Lankan Rupee experienced slight changes against the US Dollar at major commercial banks today, 24 June, compared to Monday’s rates.
At Seylan Bank, the buying rate for the US Dollar decreased from Rs. 296.85 to Rs. 296.75. The selling rate also dropped slightly, from Rs. 303.35 to Rs. 303.25.
NDB Bank reported a small increase in both rates. The buying rate rose from Rs. 296.75 to Rs. 296.90, while the selling rate went up from Rs. 304.75 to Rs. 304.90.
People’s Bank saw a decrease in both rates. The buying rate fell from Rs. 297.27 to Rs. 296.77, and the selling rate dropped from Rs. 305.05 to Rs. 304.54.
At Commercial Bank, the US Dollar rates remained unchanged. The buying rate stayed at Rs. 295.30, and the selling rate remained at Rs. 303.75.
Similarly, Sampath Bank’s buying and selling rates held steady at Rs. 297 and Rs. 305, respectively.
