CBK Gets KSh 71.6B Loan After Reopening Bond Issues in June 2025

The Central Bank of Kenya (CBK) has announced the results of its reopened 15-year and 30-year Treasury bond issues. Investors submitted bids worth KSh 101.36 billion, with the CBK accepting KSh 71.64 billion.

Of the total accepted amount, KSh 55.88 billion came from competitive bids, while KSh 15.76 billion was from non-competitive bids.

The CBK has instructed all successful bidders to complete payments by Monday, June 23, 2025. Payments must be made through the CBK DhowCSD Investor Portal or App.

Successful investors will be able to access their payment details, including keys and amounts due, on Friday, June 20, 2025.
