What is the meaning of forced liquidation in foreign exchange trading?

by admin

A forced closing is an action by a broker to automatically stop a loss when all of the trader’s positions are unfavourable.

When the trader’s margin level falls below a certain percentage, the loss is automatically stopped. This is called a “forced closing level” and means that the trader can no longer afford to hold the position.
