According to CME “Fed Watch”, the probability of the Fed raising interest rates by 25 basis points in March to the range of 4.75%-5.00% is 85.6%, and the probability of maintaining interest rates unchanged is 14.4%; the probability of maintaining interest rates unchanged by May is 8.7% , the probability of a cumulative rate hike of 25 basis points is 57.4%, and the probability of a cumulative rate hike of 50 basis points is 33.9%.
