What is CNY currency?

It is legal in China.

CNY is the English code of RMB. CNY is short for “China Yuan“, which is the standard of RMB and is widely used in international trade, foreign exchange and domestic settlement.

RMB (RMB) is the legal tender of the People’s Republic of China. The People’s Bank of China is the competent authority for the administration of RMB and is responsible for the design, printing and issuance of RMB.
